Carlotta Castelnovi

The art of Carlotta Castelnovi has the ability to rouse memories of childhood and inspire a sense of wonder and gaiety in the viewer. Her figurative expression oscillates on the subtle thread between painting and illustration (as in Lele Luzzati’s eternal recreations, as in Clare Rapaccini’s unruly classes, as in Tullio Pericoli’s amoureux in fragrant parks.) but she is a balanced supervisor, forgiving everyone, even the most unruly and, in the end, she sees everyone to bed with the expected and reassuring goodnight kiss.
